At Wellness on the Move CIC, the safety and wellbeing of every person we work with is our top priority. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults in line with:


Working Together to Safeguard Children (2018)
The Children Act (1989 & 2004)
The Care Act (2014)

Our Safeguarding Commitments:

All staff, volunteers, and facilitators are DBS checked and safeguarding trained.

We have a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) who oversees all safeguarding processes.
Our team knows how to recognise signs of abuse, neglect, or harm, and how to report concerns appropriately.
All concerns are reported following local safeguarding procedures and in partnership with the Local Safeguarding Children Partnership (LSCP) or Safeguarding Adults Board (SAB) where necessary.
We create safe, inclusive environments where all participants feel respected and heard.

At Wellness on the Move CIC,

we are proud to be an inclusive and welcoming organisation.

 

We celebrate diversity and ensure that all of our services, workshops, and community events are open, accessible, and respectful of people from all backgrounds and identities.

Our Inclusion Commitments:

We design all workshops and events to be accessible and welcoming to people with different needs.

We actively work to break down barriers to participation and ensure that people from underrepresented or marginalised communities feel safe and valued.


All staff and volunteers receive regular training on inclusion, diversity, and unconscious bias.


We regularly review our language, materials, and marketing to ensure they reflect our inclusive values.

At Wellness on the Move CIC, we aim to deliver high-quality, impactful services in everything we do. However, if you are unhappy with any part of your experience with us, we want to hear from you so we can resolve the issue and learn from it.

How to Make a Complaint

If you wish to raise a concern or make a formal complaint, you can contact us via:

What Happens Next?

1️⃣ Acknowledgement:

We will acknowledge your complaint within 3 working days.


2️⃣ Investigation:

We will review your complaint, speak to relevant staff if needed, and gather any necessary information.


3️⃣ Response:

We aim to provide a full response within 10 working days, explaining any findings, actions taken, or changes made.


4️⃣ Escalation:

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can request a review by our Directors, who will consider your complaint independently and provide a final decision.

We log all complaints to help us improve our services and ensure our commitment to learning, transparency, and accountability.
